- Check your device's current firmware version: Put the timer into a Wi-Fi configuration mode, and goto to the configuration menu to display the firmware version.
- Download the latest version and unzip the Firmware and UI files.
- Update the UI portion first. Ground the white wire to put the timer into configuration mode. Connect to the timer's Wi-Fi and go to the timer's Administration page. Go to the address 192.168.4.1/update. Ensure you enter the address into the address bar, not a search bar like Google. Select the downloaded UI file (a larger file) and upload it. Wait until the unit reboots and the Wi-Fi network is available again (10- 20 secs). The UI update is complete.
- Now update the firmware. While still in the configuration mode, go to the address 192.168.4.1/rota or click the Restart To Update Firmware UI button. It will restart the timer in firmware update mode. Once the timer restarts, ensure you are still connected to the timer's Wi-Fi.
- Go to the address 192.168.4.1/ota or click Update Firmware. Select the downloaded firmware file and upload. Wait until the update is completed.
- Recycle the timer's power and go back into the configuration mode to configure the timer.
